179- Glowing Rock
This is my dresser! Paul made it for us and did an awesome job. We used a marble for the top that is called aunex. (sp?) It is really neat. When it is lit from underneath it glows. Paul put some light under it with a light switch. Our night stands are also made this way. It is one of a kind and very cool! I was trying to get some neat pictures of it glowing. I'm not sure that I did the greatest. It kind of looks like lava! lol! :)
178- A Few Of My Favorite Things
Any one who knows me well knows that I have a thing for ornaments. (I think it's my mom's fault! Thanks mom!!!) Most of my siblings love them to! We took the tree down today and I couldn't help taking a picture of what makes me smile during December. I love to get a new ornament when we travel. Every time I see them, it brings back awesome memories!!!
176- Breakfast Sausage
I was trying to get close to the sausage to see how much detail I could get. I don't know if I've ever really looked at a sausage so close before! :)

175- Seeing What This New Lens Can Do!
Any guesses what this is? ...a wheatable cracker!
So Paul surprised me with a macro/portrait lens that I had been looking at. It 's the Nikon 105mm f/2.8G lens. AWESOME! I've only had a minute to play with it, but I love how close it gets! It's super hard to get a clear shot when you get in so close. It's going to take some practice and probably a tripod! FUN hu? Which do you like? (Don't be shy!)
174- Christmas Morning Is Finally Here!
Well, if our Christmas had a theme this year it would be...SHOOTING! All the boys in the family got guns, and I got a camera lens! Kade got his deer rifle, Davis got a pellet gun, Jensen got an airsoft, and Bridger even got a nerf gun! (but really he loves his trains!) Maybe we are obsessed...but what do you expect with a house FULL of boys! :) Everyone was happy!
173- Christmas Eve
We had an awesome Christmas Eve this year. After some fun family time and getting new jammies, we focused on Christ! We sat on a blanket in the middle of the room. Paul read us the Christmas story, and then we ate food that Jesus might have eaten. Then we wrote a gift we would give to Jesus on an ornament, hung it on the tree, and then watched several of the new Christmas videos that the Church put out. It was great. I hope we make it a tradition!

169- Christmas At The White House
Ahhh...I love nap time! Brooke Snow talked about her Christmas "Shot List" today on her blog and I decided that I would take some Christmas shots of my house. It was very fun! :)
