271- Natural Dyes

Today I did something that I have never done before.  I dyed some cheesecloth with blueberries and raspberries!  Who knew how cool I am!!! haha!  I had some freezer burned raspberries and blueberries in the freezer that were WAY past expiration.  I had bought some cheesecloth and so I decided to dive in and try it!  I have 2 newborns I get to photograph in the next 5 weeks, so I wanted to have some cute wraps to try out!  They all look very monochromatic, but there are some slight differences!  It was fun!  I might try more...maybe some different colors!  I wish I would have taken a pictures with the berries before I strained them.  Oh well!

270- Monkey Boy Goes To School

The kindergarten class had their 100 book celebration today!  (Yes...we made it to 100!)  The kids were invited to dress up as their favorite book character for school today.  Jensen really likes the "Hands hands fingers thumbs" book.  I think it was Paul's when he was little.  It talks a lot about monkeys drumming on drums!!! :)  So, here's our monkey headed to celebrate!

269- Totally Random

Honestly, today wasn't a good picture day!  None of them were that great!  I was busy all day, and took a few shots of the boys doing what they do!  The first one is of Bridger finding a neck pillow and being creative with it.  The second one is of Jensen's messiness after eating a toast with nutella on it.  He always seems to make this pose while showing me his mess!  I thought that the last one was funny.  Sometimes it looks so awkward when they are eating...yes?

267- Pussy Willows

The next three pictures are of the same pussy willow...just zoomed in closer!

So we are all SO happy that spring is here!!!!  These pussy willows are in my backyard.  I took the pictures right when the sun had gone down, so I had to turn up the ISO which made them a little more grainy.  I took them with my new macro lens.  I am still way shakey with it, but this one was pretty clear!  I think pussy willows are so very pretty!

266- Shopping

This is what I did today!  Doesn't that car full of groceries make you tired just looking at it!  :)  I did  run to the fabric store today for a few minutes!  It made facing Walmart worth it!  haha!

265- Kade's First Sacrament Talk

Kade got asked to give a talk in Sacrament Meeting Sunday!  He was given the topic of the news and media from the For Strength Of Youth pamplet.  He wrote his talk by himself and did an AWESOME job!  This is him practicing before church!

So, I'm not very good at judging where the boys are going to fly...so the composition might not be wonderful!  I still got them in the air without being blurry...YAY!  Kade and Davis are now doing 3-4 back flips in a row...while Jensen is working on a front flip! 

263- Flying Dust!

I was getting Bridger dressed this morning when he suddenly discovered the dust flying around in the sunlight.  He started slapping his hands together to try to catch it.  Don't you remember doing that as a kid?  I do!

Bridger is loving the nice weather!  He loves his slide and bike!  It's soooo good for the boys to get out more!  We are ALL a lot happier! :)

260- NRA Gun Raffle

Paul asked me to take these pictures for an NRA fundraiser event.  He helped me and we had fun...minus the kids screaming and crying!  One day we will be able to do things in peace! :) 

259- Beautiful Flag

I took this quick picture of the flag in front of Doug and Christy's house.  It was pretty windy outside!  I'm glad I caught the flag waving!  I think the flag is so pretty!

258- Happy Green Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!  This is about as festive as it gets over at our house!!!  Green pancakes with chocolate chips!  This picture of Davis is right after he sprinted downstairs after he found out it was St. Patrick's Day, to put on a green shirt to avoid a pinch from his brother! :)

We took the camera with to see Paul at work!  We snapped some fun pictures.  I love how location doesn't have a lot to do with good pictures!  :)

Let me just tell you that this kid was a breeze to photograph!  Carter you are AWESOME!  He was so cooperative and  happy the whole time!  My boys need to spend more time around him!
